Chewing The Fat

Chewing The Fat is a bold, yet refreshingly honest platform dedicated to helping adults understand their metabolism in a world that makes it incredibly hard to stay well.

In a world that constantly pulls us out of our bodies and into our minds, my work is an invitation to return.

Through skilled, intuitive touch across massage, reflexology, and holistic facial therapy, I create a space where you can reconnect with the innate wisdom of your body. This is not simply about relaxing muscles. It is about gently unwinding the stress held within your system, calming your nervous system, and allowing a genuine sense of safety and ease to emerge.

Here, you are invited to pause, let go, and receive. To soften the noise of the outside world and remember what it feels like to be truly present, grounded, and at home in your own body. My work supports you in releasing stored tension, restoring balance, and reconnecting with a deeper sense of calm.

I began my career in 2004 after earning a BSc (Hons) in Health Sciences: Therapeutic Bodywork. For many years, I supported clients in relieving pain, restoring movement, and reconnecting with their bodies through hands-on therapy.

Then my work became personal.

After years of medical investigations, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2014. I experienced first-hand what it means to feel exhausted, inflamed, and stuck in survival mode. When conventional approaches did not offer the answers I needed, I was guided to look deeper.

Through studying nutrition, nervous system health, and metabolic wellbeing, I was able to completely transform my own health. This journey reshaped not only how I care for my body, but how I understand the body as a whole. Not just physically, but emotionally and systemically.

Today, I bring together over 25 years of knowledge, experience, and intuitive, hands-on work to support others in reconnecting with their bodies, releasing stress, and restoring a sense of balance, safety, and wellbeing.

Medication was not the answer. I had to look deeper.

Therapeutic Bodywork

This is more than a massage. It is a guided release.

Using slow, mindful, therapeutic pressure, I work with the body to dissolve stored tension in the shoulders, neck, back, and wherever stress has taken hold.

As your muscles release, your breathing deepens. Your nervous system settles. Your body remembers ease.

You leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more fully yourself.

Reflexology

While you carry the weight of the world on your shoulders, your feet carry you. Reflexology uses precise pressure points to restore balance, calm your nervous system, and support healing throughout your entire body.

A Reset for Your Entire System:

Reflexology works through specific pressure points on the feet that correspond with systems throughout the body. This allows the nervous system to slow down, reset, and restore balance naturally.

Think of it as a reset button for your system

Galvanic Anti-Aging Facial

This treatment uses a revolutionary galvanic spa system from the USA, combining conductive gels with advanced technology. It is a two fold journey of science and soul. The science works to visibly firm, tone, and hydrate your skin, helping to soften fine lines and restore radiance. The soul element is expressed through a luxurious therapeutic sequence including lymphatic drainage, facial massage, scalp massage, and hand or foot massage.
