Events & Retreats designed for transformation
Nestled in a serene setting, Mana Wak is blossoming into a vibrant community of like-minded individuals who share a profound passion for movement as a catalyst for transformation.
We believe that practices such as yoga, grappling, capoeira, and ecstatic dance can transport us beyond the confines of everyday reality, allowing us to tap into a deeper sense of self and connection.
Our weekly schedule is thoughtfully curated to foster this sense of community, featuring a diverse range of movement practices, as well as intentional gatherings around the fire, invigorating sauna sessions, and refreshing swims in our bio pond.
At the heart of Mana Wak is a commitment to education and research, driven by the understanding that true growth and exploration are best achieved through shared experience. By creating a supportive and inclusive environment, we aim to cultivate a community that is dedicated to exploring the vast potential of the human body and consciousness.
Join us on this journey, and become part of a dynamic collective that is redefining the boundaries of movement, connection, and collective evolution.
Visit Mana and Wak website and get full information on classes and retreats. Let them welcome you to their community haven. Located in an open natural space in Borehamwood.
The schedule offers a rich mix of movement, mindfulness, and community-centred practices throughout the week. Yoga is at the heart of the programme, ranging from Intermediate Yoga and the early morning Vinyasa Flow to the Advanced Posture & Transitions Clinic for seasoned practitioners. There are also slower, grounding sessions like Slow Flow and community-oriented experiences such as Men’s Yoga, Swim & Check-In, which blend movement with connection and reflection.
Beyond yoga, the space hosts diverse offerings including Capoeira, Grappling, and 30/30 (a balanced blend of strength and stretch). Participants can unwind and connect through Sauna & Swim sessions, Community Campfires, and Ecstatic/Conscious Dance evenings. Creative and restorative time is encouraged through Open Studio hours and a Virtual Artist Residency. Each class fosters balance — combining physical practice, personal growth, and communal well-being in an inclusive, mindful setting.

A truly special community space with a wonderful team of teachers offering yoga and other practices.
The facilities are excellent — perfect for immersing yourself in whatever you’re drawn to, whether it’s meditation, swimming, the sauna, or simply enjoying a nourishing lunch.
I’ve met truly inspiring people here. No matter who you are or what your circumstances may be, you’ll feel a genuine sense of belonging — something truly rare and valuable these days. Thank you Toby for creating this.
There’s something truly special about Mana & Wak—a place that doesn’t just grow things from the soil, but grows community, creativity, and connection. Being part of the journey as the space on the organic farm continues to bloom feels like a rare privilege. The retreat and yoga offerings are deeply grounding, joyfully expansive, and just the kind of nourishment the soul didn’t know it needed.
It’s not just the land that nurtures; it’s the people, the energy, the sense of intention behind it all.
I came across Toby, and Mana & Wak, through a recommendation from a friend. My first visit was about 3 weeks ago, and have subsequently been back again. I was amazed by what I found: Toby has built an ‘ashram-style’ wellness centre with a yurt for yoga, a sauna, an ice-bath and a swimming pond in the middle of beautiful fields, just outside of London. Not only is Toby a great yoga teacher he was also formerly a barista and makes truly delicious coffee. There is also a kitchen with very tasty food. The other people who visit are also really interesting and good to chat with. I highly recommend!!
